The purpose of putting a cat on a leash is not to control where it goes but to make sure it's easier to catch. Santiago loves going outside even tolerating the leash in order to go out.

Time for a New Portfolio????

Oh, I think it's about that time. It's always hard to wade through the hundreds upon hundreds of photographs to find the handful that I believe are the best and that most accurately displays my artistic vision and voice. This is especially hard when I'm not even sure what my artistic vision or voice is. Hopefully, my going through the pictures to find those few that will be admitted into my portfolio I will be closer to discovering just those things.

I don't normally have the opportunity to take pictures of flowers, especially pretty flowers. I do find that many people who do take pictures of flowers seem to make those pictures about as boring as possible. I tried to shoot these flowers in a more interesting way.

Over at the Ringling Museum are some of the greatest trees I've ever seen. I kept expecting Peter Pan to erupt from the trees.
