Dinner from Last Night--Chicken Mole

Harlock tried his culinary skill with some chicken mole last night. I've always loved the taste of chicken and chocolate together so I was looking forward to the dish. This is actually Harlock's second attempt at the recipe and far more successful than his first.

It was fabulous. The chicken was well seasoned and moist and the chocolate sauce had a nice spice and presence to it that did not overwhelm the entire dish.

Dinner was thinly sliced pork cutlets rolled and stuffed with bacon, apple, and a cinnamon apple jack cheese. We also had a spinach and strawberry salad (with fresh strawberries bought from Saturday's farmer's market) adorned with almond slices and drizzled in a strawberry vinegarrette dressing.

Needless to say, dinner was delicious.

Dinner from Last Night

Last nights dinner was bacon and cheese stuffed bacon cheeseburgers. We had two choices of cheeses; blue cheese and cheddar.

The insides of the burger before they are folded over. Each burger was either stuffed with blue cheese or cheddar.

This finished blue cheese and bacon stuffed blue cheese bacon burger. There is a spicy mayonnaise sauce on the burgers as well which was not photographed.

AKA the best damn dinner EVER AKA Chicken Parmesan.

I have never encountered a restaurant that can outshine Harlock's chicken parm. It was scrumptious.

Traditional bacon cheese burgers (nothing stuffed inside of the meat) with sliced raw onions and a super secret hamburger sauce and a side of fries.

I call the dish Har'burgers. (Harlock + Hamburgers)

STEAK!

Last night Harlock tackled steak and won.

I couldn't help but to say "MmmmMmmm" after every single bite. This thing was delicious and I'm not really a steak person. Well, I'm a steak person now as long as Harlock makes it. He topped the steaks with blue cheese crumbles, bacon, and grilled onions. Delicious!

And here is Harlock looking confident. He's the best chef I've ever met! Good job my love!!

Well, I've been neglecting shooting Harlock cooking dinner. I've been busy with my 365 project and another project that I should start shooting on but just haven't yet.

Last night, we had chicken tacos with rice. It was delicious. I have no preparation shots since I actually cut the chicken and onions so it's hard to shoot and dice all at the same time.

It was a great, greasy, and delicious dinner. I felt my arteries clog with each bite.
