Nutella Cookies!

Nutella people are fanatics. If you eat Nutella you love it, if you don't eat Nutella then you're insane. It's delicious. Beyond delicious! It's divine.

I found this site: http://www.nutelladay.com/nutella-recipes/ which is just a listing of Nutella recipes for cookies, cheesecakes, brownies, and other awesome pastries. So, I decided to make some cookies. I finally choose a recipe found on Carrie's Sweet Life blog; http://www.carriessweetlife.com/nutella-chocolate-chip-cookies/ .

Mixing the Nutella into the cookie dough.

The recipe is great and the cookies turned out amazing. Nice and chewy and full of Nutella goodness. I can't wait to try some of the other recipes for Nutella yummy.

November News!

Harlock and I moved out of the bungalow to a smaller, cheaper one bedroom. I love the new place, it's in a neat neighborhood and is just all around a better fit. Pictures of the new place will come eventually but most of my time has been taken up with this squiggly ball of fuzz.

Her name is Ghost of House Stark and as you can tell she is a ferocious Direwolf pup. She's 11 weeks and is a handful. American Eskimos are smart and cute and cuddly which is the only thing saving her during the whole housebreaking phase. Really though, I love her. She's an amazing puppy and the cats, for the most part get along with her.

Santiago is intrigued by her, I think. He tolerates her pouncing on him and sniffs at her from time to time. Hanzou, on the other hand, is content to hiss at her but that's it. I think he'll warm up to the puppy in time.

Sarasota Photo Walk

Yesterday I joined some other local photographers for a World Wide Photography Walk. To be honest, I'm not really sure who or what the World Wide Photography Walk is but I jumped at the chance to meet other photographers and take some pictures.

I'm really really awful at meeting new people and often make a complete and utter fool out of myself whenever I do. I don't really think I did that yesterday since I did manage to talk to a few people and even spent most of the walk with a photographer near my age. The other photographers were a deal older than I am which is not really a problem but it just served to enhance my inability to relate to others.

By chance the photo walk meeting place was also the meeting place for the local Pride walk and I was torn between which group to go with. I ended up with the photographers though and met a nice girl along the way.

I got some cool shots on the photo walk but since I normally walk around the city snapping pictures it was really nothing new to me it just happened that there were a lot of other photographers on the streets as well. It was a fun day though and I enjoyed myself.

I'm going to dedicate myself to actually getting involved in the art community in Sarasota in the coming months but that's another story all together.
