Making of My First Portfolio Part 2

Continuing with the creation of my very first portfolio.

'Grandma Wanda'
This picture is actually hard for me to even look at. I took it on a trip to Georgia with my mom. I hadn't seen my Grandma in some time during which she fought cancer and sickness and even death. She is so frail in this picture, not at all the robust woman that I remember, though she is still as lively and sassy as ever. I like this photograph though for the emotion is invokes and the reality it presents. That's why it's in my portfolio.

'Cactus'

'Han Solo: Nighttime on Hoth'

'Dragonfly'

'Crazy Bird'

'Linda's Flowers'

Making of My First Portfolio Part 1

This is going to be hard. Grant it, I'm super duper amateur when it comes to photography but I want to get better; much better and a step to Greatness is understanding why the shots I like are good. I previously posted an article advising new photographers on steps that they can undertake in order to improve and one of these steps is the forming of a portfolio. So, here it goes, my first portfolio.

'Mom Laughing'

'Drinking Horns'

'Metal Work Horse Eye'

'Flying Bee!'

'Coral in Black and White'

'Bossman Strikes'
